Permalink ^New mantra.
I’ve been finding myself frustrated with my acting lately because of an old adage: “we must not become complacent over any success.” While that statement is a very effective motivator, it also tends to lead one into a state of constant discontent with one’s performance.
Which sucks much of the enjoyment out of it. Not a good thing. Especially since that’s a good portion of what theatre is to me - celebration, wonder, and enjoyment.
So, new mantra: enjoyment, not perfection, is the goal.
Permalink well i’m just reblogging everything i find that looks tristan & yseulty. :)

Season two.
Two weeks away.
Cannot wait….

Productivity is going to be next to nil with the return of this and Game of Thrones.
How am I going to graduate?

Permalink I’ll be playing Yseult in our end-of-term production of Tristan + Yseult (based on the production by the Knee High theatre company). WOOOOOOOOO! Now for a round of preraphaelite images as a tribute to all things arthurian and pre-arthurian romance.
